Northern action has been great. Fish around the 10 foot range.

Crappies are being found in the 20ft range on green and pink colors!

Walleye fishing has been okay in the 30 - 35ft range. Wayzata and Brown Bay doing the best!

2/20/21

Fishing has been slow still with the cold snap the past few weeks. Crappie action has been okay.

Going out on the North Arm, Keaton's, Carson's Bay and out by Big Island.

Walleye action has been slow. Fishermen have reported small half hour windows at dusk and dawn. Just a challenge to get them to bite.

Reports of 18 - 24 inches of ice on most areas

Not much has changed this past week. Fishing has slowed. Has it's up's and down's this week.

Cold front rolling in has slowed the bite considerably

1/21/21

With the warmish weather ice thickness remains about the same 4 - 12 inches. Be smart, be safe!

Things have remained about the same fishing wise also. 

Walleye fishing has been slow. Evening bite has been best in the tight 4 -5pm window.

Crappies have been found suspended in Grey's Bay  late 7 - 9pm-ish. 20+ feet deep

If you get away from the crowds Phelps and Cooks Bay have been producing.

1/14/21

Ice conditions remain about the same. Between 4 -12 inches in the bays. The western bays seem to have better ice of the group.

Slow Walleye bite as of late. Most are finding them in 25 -30 ft of water if they find them.

Otherwise some can be found in the 18 -24ft range around Cooks Bay also East of Bay Island

4 - 5pm bite has been the best time of day using a fatheads or shiners

Northern Pike action has been good! Specially in Grays Bay and Carson. 

Fishing around 18 - 24ft  with sucker minnows. Decent panfish also being

caught in those areas

Bays are averaging 6 - 7 inches of ice. With some areas on the lake around 4 inches. Had a vehicle go through the ice last night se be smart and be cautious where you go!

Panfish has been good on Black, Grey, Carson Bay

anywhere from 24 - 36 ft deep

Pike fishing's been good. Fish the weedlines 18 - 24 ft

Carson Bay been hot right now.
